I was terribly disappointed that the concert was not canceled and I was definitely not alone when I checked available tickets and the cost of those tickets just hours before the concert. Ticketmaster and Live Nation should be ashamed of themselves. Steely Dead is one of my all-time favorite bands and I felt so sorry for them, performing for a crowd that was far too empty because I have Lupus and could not go due to the excessive heat advisory. Three others did not attend because I did not go. When local health experts advise staying home, you should not proceed with an outdoor venue concert, period.
